Jason, Sophie and Elly G are all making great progress with their Honours.
Jason gives his final seminar today and then starts writing his thesis. He has some very cool results about the relationship between heterozygosity and paternity using AI.
Sophie has her simulation model of sexual transmitted diseases and resistance evolution up and running, and can now start to play with varying parameters. (Thanks Jono!)
Elly G has finished 2 of 3 components of her initial proposal, and at least one of these experiments has already yielded an interesting finding.
Well done all.

Jason Marsh - his paternity data is now back & being scored. We will soon know if inbred males are worse than outbred ones at gaining paternity based on an artificial insemination experiment.

Congrats to Elly Gearing & Sophie Johns who gave very good seminars and have now submitted their proposal (which I think are fantastic). Let's hope the examiners like the proposals too!

Sad news - Elle Kelly has decided to withdraw from honours. We wish her all the best for the future, and hope that she will pick up her studies again when the time is right.
